Dressing geeks since 2020 with (mainly) procedural, sustainable & responsible clothing.

What is cøde apparel ?

We're a bunch of geeks who believe in wearing stylish & comfortable cotton clothing.

Before our brand Code Apparel hit the scene in 2020, one serious geek could not find decent apparel.
You had to settle for cringe rags designed with Publisher.

So, we decided to step up, roll up our sleeves, and craft clothing that are both top-notch and tasteful. We hunt down, create, and collaborate on cool graphic works. Mainly procedural, sometimes iconic, always nerdy.

That's been Code Apparel's mission for over 4 years now. And we're stoked about the love you've shown for our fresh brand.

itm001 - What if René Magritte was coding ?
Step into the realm of surrealism with "What if René Magritte was coding ?" where art and code intertwine to create a captivating homage to the iconic works of René Magritte.
At the forefront of the design is a vibrant yellow sphere, reminiscent of Magritte's fascination with ordinary objects depicted in extraordinary contexts. This spherical form floats effortlessly against a backdrop of meticulously rendered waves, evoking a sense of dreamlike serenity. The rhythmic flow of the digital water captures the essence of movement and fluidity.
The juxtaposition of the yellow sphere against the undulating waves pays homage to Magritte's penchant for juxtaposing unrelated elements to create thought-provoking compositions. As with Magritte's work, this wearable piece invites viewers to question reality and explore the boundaries of perception.
itm002 - What if Fernand Leger was coding ?
Inspired by Léger's exploration of machine aesthetics and industrial modernism, the snaky grid symbolize movement, progress, and the relentless march of technology. Their bold presence serves as a testament to Léger's commitment to embracing the dynamism of the modern world and infusing it with artistic expression.
Elevate your wardrobe with this serpentine grid à la Léger and embrace the fusion of art and technology in a homage that captures the essence of Fernand Léger's groundbreaking contributions to the world of modern art.
itm003 - What if Piotr Mondrian was an electronic engineer ?
At the heart of the design lies a dynamic representation of circuits, intricately arranged together in a mesmerizing display of geometric abstraction. The vibrant colors and precise lines pay homage to Mondrian's iconic grid-based compositions, where simplicity meets sophistication in a harmonious balance.
itm004 - Where is Keith Haring ?
Crafted using procedural generation techniques, the design bursts with dynamic lines, bold colors, and abstract shapes reminiscent of Haring's signature motifs.
Is the abscence of human figures due to limitation of generative art techniques ? Or is a pretext for the title of the piece "Where is Keith Harring ?" as the author has always been struck by the ressemblance of Wally and Keith ?
itm005 - chartres**2
Inspired by the sacred geometry and spiritual significance of the Chartres labyrinth, this wearable art piece invites contemplation and introspection.
Does the labyrinth symbolizes the intricate paths of life, guiding the wearer on a symbolic journey of self-discovery and enlightenment ? Or since it is not solvable, does it invite to better understand how to code and stop look away ?.
itm000 - test, our iconic garment
Designed with a touch of wit and a hint of sarcasm, this piece embodies the inside joke shared among developers worldwide. The act of typing "test" into a search engine has become a universal ritual for sourcing placeholder images during development projects, and this garment cleverly captures that moment of digital irony.
Our "test" piece is a playful nod to the relatable experience of every developer's quest for a test image as the "test" red bold image is the actual 1st result from Google Image for the query "test".
